Bio

Mars Carter (They/She) is a Lighting Designer and Technician, Director, Actor, Musician, etc., who is currently a Senior at Texas State University within the BFA Performance and Production program. They have a deeply ingrained love of the fine arts, seeing them as windows to the souls of each artist involved in the project and the soul of the world it was created in. When art is created, a piece of our soul is put into the work, and the culmination of everybody’s artistic vision and soul is what creates true, beautiful, human art. Mars aims to gain an interdisciplinary understanding of the arts and use that understanding both to create art, but also to each people the nuances and complexity of art, as well as how to create it.
